How does monthly porta potty billing work?

Monthly porta potty rentals in Harrisburg bill every 28 days, not by calendar month. The first cycle includes the one-time $55 delivery and pickup fee. Each later cycle is the 28-day rate only. The rental renews until you call for pickup, and the last cycle is billed by the week.

Who rents porta potties by the month?

Monthly porta potty renters around Harrisburg are mostly homeowners during remodels or septic work, builders on new homes, farms with seasonal crews, churches during renovations, and property owners clearing land or living in a camper while they build.

Kitchen & bath remodels

Keeps crews out of your only bathroom for the 2–8 weeks the job runs.

Septic & sewer replacement

1 unit for a family of 4–6; add a hand-wash station if the water is off.

New home builds

One unit for the whole build, serviced weekly from footer to final.

Farms & orchards

Units within a quarter-mile walk of field crews under OSHA 1928.110.

Seasonal sites

Ball fields, pools, campgrounds and hunting camps from spring to fall.

Churches & businesses

Temporary restrooms while building plumbing is being repaired.

What happens on each weekly service visit?

Each weekly service visit takes about 10 minutes: our driver pumps the waste tank, adds fresh deodorizing treatment, washes and sanitizes the seat, walls and floor, and restocks toilet paper and hand sanitizer. In winter the tank also gets a freeze-resistant charge.

  1. Pump. The tank is emptied with a vacuum hose from the service truck.
  2. Charge. Fresh blue treatment, plus a freeze-resistant mix November–March.
  3. Clean. Seat, urinal, walls, floor and door handles washed and sanitized.
  4. Restock. Paper and hand sanitizer refilled; sink units get fresh water and soap.
  5. Check. Door, latch and vent inspected; damage reported to you the same day.

Monthly porta potty questions

If I only need the porta potty for 3 weeks, do I pay for a full month?

The final cycle is billed by the week you used, so a 3-week rental is billed for 3 weeks of the 28-day rate, plus the one-time delivery and pickup fee. Call when you are done and billing stops that day.

Does a monthly porta potty rental auto-renew?

A monthly rental renews every 28 days until you call for pickup. There is no long-term contract and no early-return penalty. We text a reminder 3 days before each new cycle starts.

Can I keep a porta potty at my house while my septic is replaced?

Septic replacements usually take 1 to 4 weeks, and a monthly unit with weekly service covers a family of 4 to 6. Add a hand-wash station if the house water is also off.

Can I add a second cleaning each week?

Twice-weekly service is available on any monthly unit for an added $75 per extra visit. Most homes and small crews do fine with weekly service.

Do you rent porta potties for farms and seasonal workers?

We set units on farms, orchards and seasonal job sites across Dauphin, Perry and Lebanon counties. OSHA 29 CFR 1928.110 requires 1 toilet and 1 hand-wash facility per 20 field workers within a quarter-mile walk.

Can I get a porta potty for an RV or camper living on a property?

A monthly standard unit works well beside an RV or camper on a property under construction or a hunting camp. Units cannot connect to RV plumbing, but weekly service handles waste for 1 to 2 people.
